Hi everyone,

You haven’t heard from me for a while, so I am sending this newsletter to tell you about my last 2 weeks which have been really busy.

At the end of February I got an invitation from my sponsors UNIT and I had the chance to fly to New Zealand for Farm Jam. It was a long tiring flight but it was an unforgettable experience as I had the chance to visit and ride in one of the most spectacular countries in the world. I also had the chance to use my new UNIT/BELL helmet, my new Alpinestars gear and my Arnette goggles. I had a lot of fun in NZ, but unfortunately it was quite rainy and windy during the whole 5-day stay so we had to ride in quite difficult conditions.

After the long journey back home from NZ I hardly had time to relax at home because I had to drive all the way to Italy for the first stop of IFMXF World Championship in Torino, which was a 2-day competition. Fortunately everything went all right and I got 3rd on Friday evening and 2nd on Saturday evening, which is my best result so far in the World Championship.

Although I made some mistakes during my runs in Torino, I am really satisfied with my job and I know I can improve and keep fighting for more victories … and even for the World title.
Thanks everyone for supporting me and I hope to see you soon,

Maikel
