Masters of Dirt | Dublin

Dublin got down and dirty this past weekend!

The City West Arena saw four rocking shows blast through the brand new venue, as MoD paid its first visit to Dublin from 8 to 11 April.

Everything came together as the combined cast of the World's best Dirt Bike riders, Fuel Girls, DJ Mosakken and the slick MoD production crew - unleashed the full force of the MoD World Masters Tour on Dublin. Having such an enthusiastic crowd in our first ever visit to the festive capital city of Ireland, meant that the atmosphere was electric for every show and the riders had no lack of motivation to push their limits.

The Irish hospitality also meant that the nightly parties were as rowdy and raucous as you would expect from MoD.

Some highlights of the 4 days of Dirty Dublin action: * The side by side Frontflip sequence on the BMX dirt jumps

* ET proposing to his girlfriend in front of a sold out audience on Saturday night
* Friday night's triple jump was the closest we have seen to date - all three riders had their elbows touching on the ramp as they launched side by side!!!

* The final flip train of the show, ending with every rider - BMX, MTB, FMX,
Quad and Sled - backflipping in an intense 20 second long maelstrom of flying
bikes. The perfect climax for the four days chaos

* Libor Podmol and Romain Izzo stepped into the cast at the last minute to
replace the injured Remi Bizouard and Nixi Danielson and rode really well

* The Fuel Girls launched their buggy off the dirt jump after shooting
"Pancho" from Dirty Sanchez TV programme with their T-shirt cannon

* Non stop after parties

* An awesome venue, hotel and group of hosts
